Wiki, Wiki, it is fun. and it is useful
It seems the Wikipedia be coming the first source for the librarian answering the general referecne question now. At least I used it a lot. Wiki is fun and useful. It si fun because it is easy to use, it is useful because is carrys a lot of reference inforamtion. Some wiki are well organized but some are not. teh free entry and the flexibility are the best benefit. But too open is its cons. But I think more and more perple will like it because its functions and context.

Library 2.0
Now, a lot of perple are talking about the Library 2.0, What is the Library 2.0? To me, the Library 2.0 is the "cultural revolution" for the Library. It changes all the ways that library used to do. The web becomes "the center of a new lifestyle that changes our culture and touches every aspect of our lives. The web moves from simply being sites and search engines to a shared network space that drives work, research, education, entertainment and social activities—essentially everything people do".
The Library 2.0 is also that “the Library is human” because it makes the library a social and emotionally engaging center for learning and experience. Librarian 2.0, then, is the “strategy guide” for helping users find information, gather knowledge and create content.

Technorati? Why we need it
Do we really need the "Technorati"? I can't give me a reason. I don't know how they pick the blogs for their home page, nor the popular. The format and the organizing are confus.
I try to do my homework in search of “Learning 2.0” in Blog posts, in tags and in the Blog Directory. Yes, the results are different. The numbers are from big to small. But I couldn't find what I want -the "Queens Library Learning 2.0". When I search the term of "Queens Library Learning 2.0", there are no any result.
Maybe someone like you, but I don't. Sorry, "Technorati".

Bookmark, Bookmark
As a librarian, I always bookmark some useful website for reference. I don't care I should share these bookmarks with other or what others' bookmarks. But I really care my bookmarks will be there when I need them. Del.ico.us gives me a great way to keep my bookmarks. I can get to my bookmarks from anywhere, no matter whether I am. It really solves my problem.
Del.ico.us also needs to be improved. It is still not powerful enough for taging and organizing. But I can live with it. So far so good.

Roll in the Rollyo
For the individual investor, my "Roll" of "Stockprice" is best.
again, it is a "OK" one. when you "rollyo" into it, be careful the advertising sites on teh top. just go into your "roll" sites directly.

LibraryThing
All I have learn so far are really excited, but not this one. I mean, it is OK to create your own catalog or book shelves, but seems not that much helpful for work or lifestyle. I prefer amazon.com or Barnes & Noble online or worldcat.
